Went to the library with Ann to look for some reference about FileMaker Pro. To my disappointment, there are very few books written on this software and those available were the same as what I have on my desk. Went to the Fiction Section to look for some novels from Mary Higgins Clark and was happy to find 2 new titles (Because I've read almost all her books). It brings back memories because I started reading her books during secondary school which our English Language Teacher recommended us to read to improve our English.
Ate at the usual Chinese Restaurant at Jurong Entertainment Centre. Ordered Honey Roasted Meat Noodle and Ann ordered porridge because she was sick. After hanging out for a while, we headed for home.
Everyday as I alight at Bouna Vista MRT, I always see a Ah Mah standing near the bridge connecting from the Station looking for crowds of people to give her their Today newspaper. I wonder if Ah Mah was so poor that she needs to collect newspapers to earn a living. She will always give you the grateful smile whenever you passed her your newspaper. From what I see, although Ah Mah collects newspaper to earn money but she looks happy to me. What I wanted to pass the message is that no matter how poor you are, the most important thing that matters is to live a happy life.
