Miss SP alot!

Last Saturday, after taking my Basic Theory Test (Hope that I will pass if not I will bang my head on the wall!) I went to Dover MRT Station to meet ann because we are going to the SP Convention Centre to see Taufik's Appearance. I even brought a digital camera borrowed from my uncle (Ann suggested to shoot Taufik singing). Becasue it was also SP Open House, the place was crowded with a lot of people. It was my first time entering the Convention Centre (Can you believe it? Did not even step inside during my three years of study there). We went around to see where is the entrance to the convention hall and people are already queue up to go inside. So we queue up and after waiting for 15min, the entrance door was opened and the crowd started moving. Cameraman was shooting us going in and we tried to avoid it by walking faster. Haha.

Upon entering, I was awed by the magnificent hall that Singapore Polytechnic has. The hall was definitely big enough to hold about a thousand audience. There is even a screen behind for those people sitting behind. We were seated at about the 10th row so it was quite near the stage. Ann was responsible for shooting the whole performance while I enjoyed the comfortable seat. (Sorry for not helping you to shoot because you were saying that your hands were already tired).

The MCs were both humorous and they definitely knew how to entertain the audience and hold more time by asking one of the performers to do an encore because our Singapore Idol Winner was not here yet. The screams of Taufik's fans were definitely very intense and excruciating to the ears whenever one the MCs mention his name.

Finally, the curtains were drawn, the lights off and Taufik was standing on the stage with the spotlight on him. The screams was so loud that you cannot help but to shut your ears. We also saw Taufik's photo when he was in polytechnic and you'll get a shock at how different he was from before.

The reason why we wanted to see Taufik is because we wanted to see him sing, not because I'm a fan of his. It's a bit disappointing when he only sang a few lines of his song because he said he didn't warm up his voice. I was like, what! I came all the way here and you just sang a few lines! Regardless. we left SP and had lunch at the Chinese Restaurant at West Mall. After lunch, we went shopping for clothes and went back home after that.

Oh yah did I mention that I really miss school alot? I really want to go back and study after starting work in the company I'm attached to. The fun we had at school was definitely what I wished for now.
