Boring Day Version 3

Today is also a boring day for me, the usual daily job routine at work and I was looking forward to the week of Chinese New Year. Went to NUS today for lunch and the foodcourt was crowded with alot of students who have just started their new term. How I wish I can continue studying and join more club activities because I didn't join any CCA when I was studying in polytechnic. I think that is all. I hope that tomorrow is my salary day because my I am running out of money and I needed to shop for my new year clothes!

Sly on the Move

Yesterday I went to Jurong Entertainment Centre to meet ann who was sitting at a bench. When I met her, her first question is "See who's inside the Chinese Restaurant? " which is facing her back. I was walking left and right outside the restaurant but see no one I knew. In the end I gave up and ask her who is she referring to and she said "Sylvester is inside!" Okay, I didn't expect that. Immediately, I told my friend "Let's go inside and eat" and started walking towards the restaurant but she stopped me. I told her that anyway we always like to eat at that restaurant why not just go in right? (Anyway, it's also an excuse to see sylvester lah but I'm not a fan of his!)

Okay, we went in and the waitress brought us to a table which was opposite of where sly is sitting. However, I decided to change places and choose a place that is adjacent of sly's seat(because the angle can see him better). My first impression of him when I saw him was, he was actually quite a small-size guy haha. He's skin is definitely very white and fair (even better than most females haha!)

Ann was so excited that she even called Jane and Sharon about it. Jane was definitely a fan of his and even told us to use my phone camera to take a photo of him. Unfortunately, my camera zoom was only 4x so we did not manage to get a shot of him.

Later, we ordered our food and later we just chat about our daily activities. Although, once in a while I have a look at him to see what's he's doing, but please do not be mistaken, I'm not a fan of his. Everyone will also react the same way as me if they saw sly outside.

When he left, both of us glanced back to see him leaving with his friend. I heard from my friend that after that he was going to watch a movie and we were joking about asking the movie ticket auntie what movie is sly watching and buying the same ticket as his.

Monday is my boring day

Although spending three days of weekends before we start work on Monday, I still dread going to work because I did not enjoy enough for that three days.

On Friday(Hari Raya Haji), I washed my father's car together with my sister and mother. I was responsible for wiping the windows with newspaper. After that, I went to bugis with my parents and sisters. While my parents went to bugis to see some chinese physician, I went with my sisters to sunshine plaza which is about 5min walk from bugis to visit the anime shop there as my sister was eager to buy a keychain or some other things. Unfortunately, the shop was closed for public holiday. Dissapointed, we went back to OG to shop before we meet our parents for lunch. Oh my gosh, OG was so crowded with people! Went to Gio and saw a khahi pants my sis decided to try it. Everywhere OG is crowded with aunties and children. The changing area, the cashier, everywhere I need to QUEUE UP, so frustrating!!! After lunch, we went back home.

On Saturday and Sunday, I did not went out as I'm kind of tired and lazy and prefer to stay at home and slack. Most of the time, I was watching variety shows, anime shows and Japanese shows. Reading comic books, drawing, doing housework. I do not know why but I just feel like sitting there the whole day watching TV without moving.

As for today, I have nothing to write about because working days are always so boring. However, one of our colleague was so down today (pb) that she do not have the mood to joke. Anyway to pb, cheer up and stay happy always. :)

My painful dentist checkup

I woke up early in the morning to go to my nearby dentist clinic just a walk away from my home. Because lately one part of my teeth was sensitive to cold drinks so I was scared that I have cavities like what meiling said. When I went to the receptionist, she asked me what is my purpose of my visit. I said I wanted to check-up my teeth and she asked "only check-up? You want to wash your teeth or pluck your teeth or do filling?" When she asked me that question, I was a bit confused. Why am I here? I knew I wanted to do check-up on my teeth but I do not know what's my condition of my teeth? Ok that is not all. I went inside and the dentist ask me what is my problem, I didnt know? When he checked my teeth, he said that nothing is wrong with my teeth, just that my teeth is dirty so he did cleaning to my teeth. Definitely a painful process when he dig into my teeth to remove the dirt. The excruciating pain made me want to get out of here as soon as possible. Finally when this is over, I was still a bit confused why I went to the dentist because nothing is wrong with my teeth. The only problem is I didn't have dentist check-up for 3 years. (Normally you should check your teeth once a year). Anyway, the reason why I went to the dentist is because:
1.Meiling said that I have cavities. (Please don't scare me next time!)
2. I'm sensitive to cold drinks lately.
In the end, I spent 45 bucks just to clean my teeth. What an embarrasement at the dentist clinic! Another reminder to Meiling, please don't scare me again that I have cavities!

Frustrations is the no 1 killer!

Although tommorrow is holiday which I'm happy about, I get frustrated over a lot of things. I got one part of the programming codes which I was unable to solve, frustration starts. Secondly, I went shopping and can't find the bag I want and my frustration starts to get worse. Thirdly, I was rushing to finish the website for the competition and it is always at the last minute that things starts to go haywire and my frustration has gone to the limit! I think I found a solution to release my frustration. The solution: GO SHOPPING!!! Once I have gotten my salary, I will start my spending expenditure for a lot of things......... Finally I wanted to said, frustration is the no1 killer! (haha, just kidding).

Looking foward to the holiday on Friday

I was too busy with my work on monday that I forgotten to write my daily blog. I also have to update my logbook which I have not been doing so for 1 week. (Because the boss had to grade us and kept the logbook with him for 1 week!) The worse is not just that, I had a looooooooot of tasks to do! I'm going to faint soon! Hope that friday will come soon. Weeping, frowning, draining, restless.................

Friday is my favourite Day

Finally, I have waited for so long for this friday to come! The day seems long and draggy for me at the office especially when I was doing programming the whole day. Finally, I can go shopping with my friends considering that the Chinese New Year is coming and I have this reason to go shopping for my New Year Clothes. Not just that, I had already a list of stuff to buy such as a new bag to carry to the office (currently mine was a handbag and hope to switch to a sling bag because it is more comfortable), a new purse (I'm using my mother's which looks too old for me) and lots of lots of stuff currently in my waiting list (because I'm broke). Probably I would auction some of my unwanted stuff like phoebe does.

Programming Fuzz

I wanted to bite myself when it comes to debugging codes. It's really frustrating when you are asked to go through the whole block of codes for the whole day and can't find the error that's obstructing you from going to the next step. Sometimes, I really wanted to give up and forget everything about programming. Suddenly when you are about to give up, your thinking bulb lights up and hurray you have solved the problem and you are happy again. The morale of the story is: do not get stressed up over programming bugs. Stay relaxed, get yourself a cup of coffee and enjoy your work!

Baby in my House

Since Monday, my aunt's little boy has been coming to my house because she had something on and need us to take care of him. However, yesterday 'baby' was staying in my house overnight. He was rummaging my house for stuff to play and almost putting anything that is small in his mouth. I really had a hard time taking care of him while my mother was away. When I can find my sister somewhere in the house, I quickly 'pass' the job to her. Whew! I finally got away from baby-sitting the mischievious baby.

Another Boring Day

One month has passed and three more months till my internship ends. I was working fine in my attachment company but I was thinking whether I would want to continue life forever working in an office. 8 hours with my bum stuck on the office chair, staring at the computer blindly. If you are given a choice, do you prefer to sit in the office or go out feeling sweaty and tired?
